Dr. Tom McCall
Dr. McCall has a Doctorate in Old Testament Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has authored or co-authored nine books on Biblical subjects, served 25 years as Missionary with Chosen People Ministries, worked with Zola Levitt in his Television ministry, and taught adjunct college and seminary courses.
He has led numerous tours to Israel, the Middleast, Greece and Europe, participated in archaeological programs about Biblical Lands. He is currently teaching adult Bible classes in the Tyler area, and in live streaming and archived classes on the Internet.

UPDATE PART OF ALL OUR CLASSES
ISRAEL UPDATE. All our classes begin with an Israel Update. As Bible believing Christians, we believe in the imminent Rapture of the Body of Christ, the restoration and redemption of Israel at the 2nd Coming of Christ, the reign of Christ for a thousand years over the same world that crucified Him with Jerusalem as His capital, and the eternal New Heaven, the New Earth and the New Jerusalem.
Israel is a key element in the unfolding of Bible prophecy. The nations, individuals and churches that stand by Israel as it faces Satanic fury from around the world will be blessed by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. We need to be aware of what is happening in and about Israel as we move ever closer to the Lord's return.
Week of September 26. Prime Minister Netanyahu is continueing negotiations with the President Abbas over a peace agreement. Netanyahu and Israel are being pressured on all sides to call a permanent halt to new construction in the settlements in Judea and Samaria. This would be tantamount to surrendering all that area, sometimes called the "West Bank" to the Palestinians. These surburbs of Jerusalem would not be allowed to grow a natural growth. Ultimately, while many Arabs live in Israel, no Jews would be permitted to live in the Palestinian state.
The Israeli Knesset has outlawed the freezing of the settlement construction, and Netanyaho has not aggreed to it.

Monday Luncheon Bible Class at Ryan's Steak House on South Broadway, November 15, at 11:45 AM
We are currently studying the Book of Genesis, Chapter 6, in which God determined to wipe out the human race with the Great Flood. But Noah found grace in God's eyes, he and his family. They alone would be spared from drowning. Thus Noah was saved by grace through faith, and the Lord would wait 120 years before He brought the destruction, while Noah pursued the building of the massive floating ark.
Bob Dulin will moderate the class, and lead our people in prayer requests, as usual.

Tuesday, November 16, there is a men's Luncheon Class that meets at 11:45 AM at Marvin United Methodist Church on the Second Floor opposite the elevator. The cost is $7.00 each. To make a reservation, call the church office 903-592-7396 and tell them you are attending the men's class.
In Ephesians 5 Paul exhorts the believers in Christ to walk in the light and not in the darkness,as they formerly did as unbelievers. We again have an option now as believers in Christ to walk in the light of the Lord. Jesus said we are the light of the world, and we are the sons of the light. Paul quotes a song that was derived from Isaiah:
"Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you."
Judge Tom Ramey will be the MC for the class and will be inviting prayer requests.
